As you know, many of the houses destroyed in the Almeda fire were mobile or prefabricated homes. The occupants and owners now have a lot of questions about insurance, area cleanup, FEMA (Federal Agency for Emergency Management), etc, specific to this sector. On Wednesday, September 30th at 4 pm, my office we held a Zoom forum with information and to provide answers. We featured experts including staff of the state office of prefabricated housing, staff of the Oregon Legal Aid Center, Department of Business and Consumer Affairs, of the Oregon State Tenants Association, who will provide information and knowledge to solve the challenges we face.
