Oregon's Emergency Board has approved a $1.4 million investment into a statewide emergency notification system.

MEDFORD, Ore. -- Oregon's Emergency Board has approved a $1.4 million investment into a statewide emergency notification system.
The system will incorporate various local ones that are currently in use.
It will be up to local governments to structure their own notification systems.
