Democratic state representative Pam Marsh of southern Jackson County, along with 44 other Democrats in the Oregon legislature, sent a letter on July 23rd to the U.S. Department of Justice and the Department of Homeland Security, demanding that federal personnel be removed from the streets of Portland.
Federal law enforcement officers have been cracking down on protests outside a federal building in downtown Portland.
